Nastyroids 3D has finally been modified to run on nVidia hardware! I was spurred into this course of action due to upgrading my ATI card to an nVidia model. The new version is in the Projects area and can be downloaded as the full package, or as a smaller patch if you already have the full thing.

Reports of my death have been grossly exaggerated. Having been offline and inactive for some time, I'm now back with an update to the last demo showcasing some interaction and collision detection (about time!).
Get it here.
I'm also well underway rebuilding Nastyroids 3D from the ground up. This is due to the fact that I have found out that the game refuses to run on some nVidia hardware, and since the source code seems to have developed a nasty and unsolvable bug, I thought I may as well just make a new, even better version. One which I am going to build to be more extensible. So in the next few weeks I may be calling on some people to help with artwork and sounds and such.

Well, I finally managed to get around to continuing my development of GeckoTech.
I decided to try and put together a complete game (albeit) a very simple one to see if the engine is actually working, and here, after a days work is the result so far.
Still no actual gameplay yet, but hopefully you can see some of the features are starting to come together.
Download this demo here.

Progress is still very slow at the moment. I've taken a bit of a hiatus, as I'm getting a bit too involved in the novel I'm writing, but GeckoTech is still in my thoughts.
The forum is still largely deserted for the minute - this is largely due to the fact that I haven't really done anything yet, and haven't particularly told anybody! But it's there for when the action starts.
As a learning exersise I managed to link this blog posts to the forum, so from now on, everytime I post here, a post should (will) be added to the forum.
So when my game is actually in some kind of playable form, this will be the place to go.
You can still leave your cryptic messages in the comments below though!
